5 star friend

The boss considers this good-looking man called Vincent Kompany his friend, but I don't. That doesn't make Mikel my enemy. Vincent Kompany's only achievement tonight was to feature in the first line of my post. Speaking of enemies, regular readers of the blog know that I am not a fan of Kai Havertz 29. He may get that no.10 jersey in the future but I have made up my mind. So much so that every time he touches the ball, I pray. I am a non-believer. The boss likes him too and still no crack between Mikel and me.       Recurring rituals before the match were in place. Jersey on the chest, 0 to 42.8 v/v alcoholic beverages on the table, eyes on the 32''. Don't judge, I will buy a bigger TV if we win this year.       Going by the Manager's press conference on Friday, a tough game was expected where we would try and try to open the Burnley defence and perform some theatrical diving near the edge of the box and then abuse the referee for not b...

Thanking You

Thankfulness isn't a feeling that arrives easily to me. Yet to Trossard and Odegaard, I thank for doing absolutely nothing in the above instance. Their dawdling gifted us the privilege of witnessing greatness. See, the feeling has gone already. If either had tried to kick the ball anywhere, even towards the referee's forehead, I can give this in writing that the ball would have still ended inside West ham goal for the sixth time. We did not convert everything created because its Arsenal DNA to miss chances and leave the fans with their hands mid air, manager included. Missing chances and still scoring six goals is something to brag about. Exactly what I have been doing since Sunday. As a person, I care about our players and understand that playing each minute after 90 carries risk of injuries. At the same time, I didn't want to hear that full time whistle ...

Running for a cause

Exclamation signs, even hundreds can't reveal the expressions at my face right now. Although goosebumps on my left arm at this point do appear like a hundred exclamations. Hate me all you want but before the game tonight an Arsenal win was not the first thing I hoped for, it was surely the second, I swear but with all my heart I hoped to watch uninterrupted telecast on my phone as I was and am still travelling through rail. The Arsenal Automatic gun like my internet connection was firing super smooth and fast in the first half barring a little glitch towards the end where I had to flicker the 'Aeroplane mode' tab. It was not required particularly but everything was so silky, so good to be true for a gunner and for a gooner too. So the powers combined to pull us back to reality. I know big Gabi, I understand you boy. The interval failed to bring peace to the mind and took it to buzz around the memories of recent FA cup clash against Liverpool. Energetic start, hi...
